It depends of what the Practitioner is offering. Generally, for sound baths that I will be offering, it will be between 30 and 60 minutes long. Some can go up to 90 minutes, but I personally feel that 90 minutes is too long.
Loosely, this is broken down to for a 30-60 minute session:
5-10 minutes of a brief introduction and intention setting as people are settling onto their mats and snuggling into their blankets.
20 to 45 minutes of sound healing time with the instruments followed by
5-10 minutes of silence for integration
The remaining time tis for the Practitioner to gently bring you out of of relaxation. Often instructing you to wiggle your hands and your toes, then rolling to your side and into a fetal position, then pushing yourself up to a seated position. Each practitioner is different, I suggest doing with feels right to you.
Lastly, just make sure that your awareness is back in your physical body and grounded so that you can safely leave the session and travel to your next destination.
